About Us
Bethesda Design Web was founded in 2006 with the goal to provide area businesses, as well as nonprofits (specializing in education and health care) with quality web sites that communicate effectively. Since then, we've succeeded in developing sites in a wide-range of styles and earned the respect of growing businesses and nonprofit clients across the Greater Washington DC area. We have won several awards from the prestigious Interactive Media Association, and been honored by PBS for our educational site designs, including our children's book review site, KidsReadingCircle.com, on the PBS list of best reading sites.
About Bethesda Design Web
Nonprofit Organizations
We work with non-profit organizations, foundations & educational programs to connect programs with the community, donors and funders. We help our nonprofit clients to successfully integrate marketing, fundraising, & technology through efficient design and Internet-based solutions.
Businesses and Professionals
We excel at helping establish a professional
presence on the web. We start by first taking a close look at our client's competition and examining ways to best convey this message to the audience. And offer a search engine optimization plan to help customers find the new site.
For All Clients
We provide generous one-on-one attention to every client, deliver more than required, provide professional accountability, delivering products that amaze our clients, and serve them well. And clients tell us constantly how secure it feels to know that Bethesda Design Web expertise is but an email or phone call away.

The Designer
Principal Designer Deborah Dine is a four-time winner of the prestigious IMA web awards, holds a masters from Medill, a biology degree from BC, is certified in two computer science levels by the IWA, and is currently preparing for CIW certification.
Dine brings to the job considerable creativity, internet knowledge, a strong academic computer science background, a professional business-writing background, health care expertise, and a myriad of other skills. When the web project warrants it, she joins forces with some of the top computer development minds in the area, including Dan Meyer, Philip Dawn, and Marcie Frey, all Bethesda-area computer experts.
Among Dine's clients are the U.S. Dept. of Education, and Montgomery County and Maryland school systems. Dine is a DMOZ web editor for the literary division, and is founder/author of the kids literary site, KidsReadingCircle.com. BDW is listed with the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce, and Dine is an active volunteer providing web support for area schools and other nonprofits.
